Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of VanguardOps. If you don’t agree with them, don’t use the product.

Acceptance

By creating an account and using VanguardOps, you agree to these terms. If you are using VanguardOps on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company to these terms.

Early access

VanguardOps is in its founding-cohort phase. During this period:

• The product is provided as-is. Functionality may change. Bugs exist.
• Founding member pricing is live. 10 slots at $399/mo, locked for life. Standard Professional is $799/mo.
• We may modify or remove features with reasonable notice.
• We reserve the right to terminate early access if the product is used in violation of these terms.

Your responsibilities

When you connect your Salesforce org to VanguardOps, you confirm:

• You have authority to grant API access to that Salesforce org.
• You will only run scans on orgs you legitimately administer or have permission to audit.
• You will not use VanguardOps to access metadata for orgs you do not have authorization to inspect.
• You will not attempt to use VanguardOps to circumvent Salesforce platform security controls or licensing agreements.

What we do

VanguardOps reads Salesforce metadata via OAuth-scoped API access, analyzes it, generates remediation plans, and (when explicitly authorized by you) executes those remediations in sandbox orgs only. See the Security page for the full architectural detail.

We do not access customer records or modify your data in any way. Remediation executes in sandbox only, with your explicit approval. We never write to your production org.

Service level

We aim for high availability but do not currently offer a formal SLA. During this period, expect occasional planned maintenance windows and the possibility of unexpected downtime.

Acceptable use

Don’t:

• Use VanguardOps to attack, probe, or exfiltrate data from Salesforce orgs you don’t own
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code or trade secrets
• Resell or sublicense VanguardOps without explicit written permission
• Use VanguardOps in violation of any applicable law or Salesforce’s own terms of service

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Intellectual property

VanguardOps’s software, branding, content, and remediation logic remain our property. The findings and analysis generated against your Salesforce org are yours to use however you see fit.

Liability

VanguardOps is provided as-is during the founding-cohort period. We make no warranties about uptime, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you arising from or related to your use of VanguardOps will not exceed the amount you have paid us in the preceding 12 months.

We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to lost revenue, data loss, business interruption, or reputational harm.

These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory under which the claim is brought.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold VanguardOps harmless from any claims, damages, or costs arising from your use of VanguardOps in violation of these terms or applicable law.

Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. On termination:

• You lose access to VanguardOps.
• We will retain your data per the data retention schedule in our Privacy Policy.
• The acceptable use, liability, and indemnification sections survive termination.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

Changes to these terms

We will update this page when the terms change. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
